Yay! I’m now working from Batemans Bay’s new co-working space, South Tribe.
South Tribe is a funky workspace on Kylie Crescent in Batemans Bay’s industrial area. You can hire a desk, use the internet and network with other professionals.
Let’s face it, working from home isn’t always all it’s cracked up to be. There’s too little separation between home and work. You can find yourself hanging out washing when you should be making sales calls, or troubleshooting a website’s mobile display at 11 o’clock at night.
Then there’s the isolation! Relationships are so important in business but it’s hard to form them when you spend most of your time hidden in your basement with your dog.
I plan to spend a day or two each week at South Tribe, which puts me in an excellent spot to offer web design, WordPress training and support to Batemans Bay businesses, and springboard to Canberra. (Dalmeny and Narooma are stunningly beautiful but let’s face it, they’re hardly business centres!)
I’d like to thank Isabel and Andrew for making me feel so welcome at South Tribe. I’m looking forward to spending many happy, productive hours there.
